A great beginner telescope that offers tracking at a reasonable price.  Upgradeable to GOTO and will accept a tripod as well.  Great for camping, travel, and video astronomy as well.  The 90 mm Maksutov that it comes with is a great for observing the Moon, planets such as Saturn, Mars and Jupiter, clusters of stars, and brighter deep sky objects.  It is also equipped with a threaded visual back that with accept a standard T ring to attach a dslr and use at prime focus.  Alternatively, you can take the optical tube off and mount it to a standard pan tilt head on a camera tripod and use for wildlife observing!

You can use Virtuoso with just about any camera or camcorder, from your DSLR to your iPhone. We’ve also included a 90 mm optical tube and two eyepieces for astronomical observing.

DSLR interface. Take photographs automatically with your DSLR at up to 6 preset positions. The mount will stop at each predetermined position and automatically trigger the camera’s shutter release.

The Virtuoso™ mount can be upgraded to Go-To by purchasing an AZ
Synscan™ handset and cable, allowing 42,900+ night sky objects to be automatically found from its extensive database.

Mount can hold up to 4.4 lbs or 2KG optical tube, so other compact telescopes can be used on this mount as it has a vixen style saddle. (Such as a 114 Newtonian Reflector with a short focal length or a small refractor).
